Draws all round. Not done the maths but always prefer this from rivals.

Halifax in front away at Chesterfield

Though Solihull are better placed than Stockport, I'd rather Solihull won. If Stockport edge in front of us, we're going to have a hard time pulling them back I think.

We have to want Chesterfield v Halifax to end in a draw, if not we do still have two games v Chesterfield as opposed to one v Halifax, so there's more we can do to peg Chesterfield back if they won.

    Wrexham in front at Altrincham

    EDIT: Now 2 - 0

A draws the best result logically but I would really like to see the wind knocked out of Chesterfields sails, I tend to think Halifax won’t go the distance but who knows.

Yep, as it stands some good results for us if we’re after top spot. Gotta beat Wrexham though.

5th win in six for both Stockport and Wrexham. Wouldn't be surprised now if it's that pair making up the top two at the end of the season - as many would have predicted in July before their slow starts.

Hopefully it doesn't come down to PPG but here's how that currently looks...

Are Dag and Red making a comeback? Three wins on the trot and their next fixture is home to Dover.

Overall a decent set of results for us. A Solihull / Stockport draw would have been great but not surprised the away side edged a close low scoring game.
