Barrow and Colchester are not going down. Oldham are going down.
So, that's one relegation place to be filled by one of Stevenage (now Paul Tisdale), Sunthorpe (now Keith Hill) and Carlisle United (now Keith Millen). The neutral observer of this would be of the opinion that Carlisle United will go down, especially as it is the case that it is a few years since Carlisler United improved in January.
I don't think previous years are relevant to what may happen this season. Barrow is struggling, as is Hartlepool (and they looked so good when we played them there).
I have no idea what the team will be but hope that, if fit, Mellish starts up front
Be interesting to see how many subs we list.
Well the same people are in the key posts as in previous seasons, the same people who have to give our manager the approval to seek new players and to approve the specific players. To keep doing the same thing and expect better results etc.
Three of the bottom four are giving away a lot more goals than Barrow. Although Barrow may get a lot of results similar to those three, it will occasionally occur that in matches where those three would lose by one goal Barrow will get a draw. In the occasional match where those three would get a draw, Barrow will win by one goal. Thus I similarly totally dismiss both Barrow and Colchester from the likelihood of relegation.
As for Hartlepool they are now 8 points clear of 23rd place. So, 23rd place would need to win 3 more matches than Hartlepool to overtake them. 23rd place has won only 3 games out of 22, so I dismiss Hartlepool from the likelihood of relegation.
The neutral observer would pick Oldham Athletic and Carlisle United to go down. It is between us, Stevenage and Scunthorpe for who goes down with Oldham. We are going to be out-managed by Tisdale (Stevenage) and Hill (Scunthorpe ).

I do not think you will go down, you have a better goal difference than those around you.. 2 wins will quickly pull you clear..
For me it’s Stevenage & Oldham
Poor quality and we were second best until the last 5 minutes with a Macdonald goal as reward. The S****horpe commenatary was calling that as the danger for 5 minutes beforehand. It seems that Macdonald did push the defender. For me Feeny the best, Gibson barely mentioned. Mellish doing well as are Armer & Dickenson.
Orgasmic, on an afternoon when 4 of the bottom 6 teams lose, 1 team draws and we won.![]()
