    Sad day at the scg

Hoping and praying that our batsman could hopefully put in a effort to remember but got the opposite and as I watched poor Joe Root head back to the dressing room after a very short stay at the crease I could feel his pain of a very poor series I wouldn’t blame him if he broke into tears as he walked back to dressing room.
Sad day and a very sad series four our boys
Hopefully the weekend is better when we take on the other Albion in The cup

At least Bairstow is making a fist of it. Very disappointing from the alleged batsmen !

Yes thanks to Bairstow and stokes and even wood saved grace.I left at lunch when we were 4 for 36 and it wasn’t looking good so missed out on the fight back The Aussie fan gave Root a hard time hen he returned to the dressing room and one fan said something to stokes that he didn’t like.

Been lucky enough to see Ashes cricket at the SCG, MCG and WACA and I can tell you there will have been a lot more than the one guy you can see on tv giving Root a hard time!

Begs the question from the start, which many of us were asking, why wasn't Bairstowe in the side? This is not with hindsight either! Selection all round has been poor. That's not to say that we wouldn't have been beaten but we might have made a better showing.

    Glad I don't give a toss about England cricketer's.
Following the Albion is depressing enough.
