I'm sure every Notts fan will be deeply saddened to hear the news that 'Uncle Colin', as he was fondly known by many has passed away.

The voice of Notts County. He’ll be sorely missed around the club and amongst all the fans and such a shame he hasn’t got to see us reclaim our place in the EFL.

A great bloke who did so much for Notts. The club would have been long forgotten were in not for his efforts in bringing about that rescue in 1965 and he did a heck of a lot for Notts in subsequent years. R I P

I wouldn't remove Derek Pavis' name because he played his own part in Notts County's history and the delivery of the new stadium, but how about the Kop? It is the home to our most fervent support after all. Originally Posted by irishpete
