    Three Dundee fans this week............

.........all long term season ticket holders, that I've spoken to are not sure if they can be bothered going tomorrow.

All also saying that if we're embarrassed by St. Mirren they'll probably call it a day for the season and likely won't renew season tickets next season - two of them saying relegation will definitely be it for season tickets. Include me in that so there's four that can't really be bothered and three definitely not renewing if relegated.

The apathy around Dundee FC right now is not surprising but it's becoming very worrying.

Apathy seems to be the clubs motto just now, and fans catch that from the staff.

Nelms does not even pretend to care about the fans, seats are dirty, external walls are graffiti covered, and badly painted when the graffiti is covered. The stadium is left to rot on the pretence that a new stadium will be built. Season ticket prices go up,and 30 quid patg is ridiculous given what fans are served up.

But nelms has the comfort of knowing he is even less likely to be sacked than Mcpake, and because of that,he doesn't really care about his performance in the job.

The general malaise seems to have spread into the team, and it seems to me like the general idea is that second best is OK. Or second worst in a league position.

Mcpake gets a lot of criticism from the fans, some of it is absolutely justified, some not so much. Players who try things are abused for failing, when it should be for not trying things. That feeds into the general feeling that not really trying is the way to go,because if you don't fail, nobody complains about you.

Apathy from the fans though,is not a great thing. It allows Nelms to continue on his current trajectory, because if the fans don't care, why should he? And I can't see him ever accepting it started with him. The fans should be angry, not apathetic, but it's hard to do that when you know that no matter what, the status quo will probably continue for a long time.

The only other option is public protest, which would not be supported. Too many are prepared to blindly follow. That is what saves Nelms.

Me too. I have had enough of the incompetence running particularly the football team of this club. I will probably stop going if they lose the next two. They have my money which I don't grudge for this season, but I will not commit any more if they get relegated this season.

Will you fk off about the hoses?

Ridiculous the number of long term fans that seem to have just given up, if the club folded right now I'm not sure I'd be too concerned about it for more than a couple of weeks before moving on.

I don't even think public protest would help, unless it was outside Tim Keyes office window.

Nelms does not care what anyone else thinks, says or does

I was thinking about the embarrassing publicity factor but you are probably right.
