    Deadline day!

Well it's finally here! Conway will be hard at it scouring what players are still available on the heap for a knockdown price.
Probably some refusing to sign because of our position or how the club is run, but some because he wanted to save a fiver on their goal bonus (Pennies make pounds).
So my estimate is 3 in all names we have never heard of or can pronounce properly? What are your expectations today?

"We have been working twenty four hours a day but just couldn't get the deals over the line in time".

"We are excited to have brought in Shirley Bassi, beating off strong competition from other clubs, including Batley Variety Club"

"Loan deals from Nancy, Ostend, Thun, Den Bosch and Ejsberg are still likely, thanks to efforts from Paul Conway"

No one of significance as signed yet.
    No one that’s a leader.
No one of an age that the players will look up to.
No one that will increase the fight against relegation.
    No one.

Thats because we are already down , it does not take a lot of working out, lets plan for next season now & forget about wasting time & effort, that went down the pan when we replaced Schopp with another rookie when we could have gone for Warnock or Wilder & made a fight of it .

    Got it in one SB.
Working hard to get them in but they just wouldn’t sign for £50 a week.
