With a replacement manager of your choice…where would we finish

What’s your opinion, assuming a manager appointment of any available candidate (who would be likely to accept the poisoned chalice) as to what our Championship league table position would be?
Essentially, how good is our existing squad ? What match winning impact would the new guy achieve, given existing players ?
I believe we will achieve (just) a play off position in any event.

If we had gone for Gayle up front with Carrol. we could easily get in the top 2.
I see Roberto Carlos has signed for a pub team in Shropshire for a fiver off E-Bay

My view is that, irrespective of who the manager is, the quality of the squad is paramount. I believe they are competent to achieve a play off place.
I’m uncomfortable to the reference ‘he’s lost the dressing room’…the players are paid a fortune and should follow the direction of the manager…whether they like it or not. The current players’ performance smacks of a player power petulance. I hope it is stamped out…irrespective of who the manager is.
Undoubtedly an owner the other side of the world does not help

But Prando wasn’t that the draw of Ish he made a team out of a rag tag bunch at Barnsley and didn’t take any crap and was disciplined

Instead we got quotes like my captain plays no matter what, pre determined subs, long ball, no flexibility or plan b

Good points BaggieSingh buddy, but I still feel that the effort of the players has diminished as a reaction to their reluctance to adhere.
It is this lack of passion that totally disrespects the fans, not the manager.
