Although I am a little disappointed with the business we have done and I very happy with the business we didn't do. What I mean is I am glad that we haven't let any of the key players leave even the ones that have unresolved contract issues. Freddie now knows he isn't leaving until the end of the season and for him to get a good deal he will know(unless he is thick) that the best way to do that is play well, work hard and score goals, that has to be a good thing for us. Lindsay staying is good too, it also puts more pressure on PW and his team, they have a player that now knows he is wanted by other clubs, he isn't in the first team and so good man management is required. We have a player that wants out, we have a player that is wanted we have others that don't want to commit to the club and we have new players that need to fit in, PW will have to do the man management side of his job very well in the coming months, to keep this group focused and individuals onside, so lets see what he can do. I am not as convinced about his man management skills as others on here, but i could be wrong, for me he seems like a "happy path" manager that is great when things are going well but struggles to manage individuals when things for that individual isn't going well, but we will see and I genuinely hope he has the skills and is successful.

We didn’t get any money for Freddie which tells its own story ? Nobody though he was worth the gamble, If Freddie wants a move he is going to have to earn it ! for him putting in a transfer request as high lighted his failings, plays for himself and not the team !!

Wholesale changes wasn't needed we are top off the league and not far off the best unbeaten run in the clubs history.

Didn't lose any integral players and added a couple, positive if not a groundbreaking transfer window for us. Much like a lot of teams, couple of pieces of business and relatively quiet. I'll take a quiet window when top of the league.

No fee for Ladapo, but doesn't it now mean we will lose Smith without a fee?

Warney has said that most of the players that we were speculating on leaving have a clause where we can extend the contract for twelve months.

Thought we had enough before the window and nothing has changed to the contrary after it….

Ladapo going would have cut off the frayed edges.but I don’t think it will be any great detriment having him around now.it’s up to him if he wants to and enjoys his football...

Wonder if the players yet to sign contracts are wanting to use the championship as a showcase to get a better club/wages and leave on a free.
