There’s nowhere enough in that for Chesterfield to get rid of him. I tend to think it was after playing his ex club Aldershot and only getting a 0-0, he left there on bad terms apparently, he was also fuming about Chesterfields pitch afterwards and he was suspended a couple of days after.

There can't be a bigger club than Chesterfield that's not seen the 2nd tier for 70 years. Clubs who've been that high since the Spireites last dropped out of that level include Lincoln, Northampton, York, Hereford, Mansfield, Wrexham, Cambridge, Bury, Port Vale, Tranmere, Stockport, Gillingham, Crewe, Southend, Colchester, Scun_thorpe, Yeovil and Wycombe. Must be as frustrating a club to support as Notts.
