Doesn’t seem to think we are Prem behind the scenes

For me that is when everything went belly up for us.

I know most people blame Lai for everything but to be fair to him he paid a hefty price for the club and then initially backed that up with a sizeable budget.

Unfortunately for him the recruitment was rubbish, and has been ever since. Four big money transfers in Chadli, Livermore, Rodriguez and Burke. Could we have spent the money less wisely if we had tried? The only one who got anywhere near was Jay Rod and that was mainly when we were in the Championship.

Lai just should not have bought a football club. He knows nothing about football, or about running a football club and the lieutenants he has put in place to protect his interests have been nothing short of useless themselves.

Peace at least knew how to run the club but despite his words at the time, he just saw the big bucks Lai was prepared to pay him and I don’t think he gave a fig for the fact he knew Lai wouldn’t be able to make it work.

In fairness to Lao....the Communist Party of China has not helped either.
Almost completed their transition in preventing outside foreign investment overseas.
He wants out and hasn't a lot of time left.
