    More Postponing Noise - Forest

Forest match called off - Forest fans moaning about Bournemouth because they have traveled and it’s been called off. Think a bit of common sense needed.

As usual, the last people to be considered are the fans.

Grimsby's game at Southend tonight has just been called off, again far too late for the fishy folk not to be well on their way.

No respect at all for the fans.

When the bulk of the UK is being blasted by the storm and the South of England in particular being affected by 80-100mph winds. All of which was forecast. The calling off of games should have been done first thing this morning.
I’m not sure it’s respect anymore. It’s down right stupidity.

I have to agree. I'm not in favour of postponing games because the weather 'might' be a problem, but this was forecast to be the biggest storm we've had in 30 years and the south was forecast to be hit hard.

When its a situation like that its obviously pretty stupid to be travelling in the first place......quite different to for example the Dover situation.

Agree with all of that, but you also have to wonder why any fan would choose to make the journey given the weather forecasts and the almost certainty of postponement

EDIT: You beat me to it Queensland

Out and about in Nottingham today I noticed a few strong gusts, a bit of drizzle from time to time and some some quite pleasant sunny spells, then I get home to see people down south on the news virtually hanging horizontal from lampposts and planes struggling to land. For such a small country our weather is certainly variable.

To be honest Bournemouth is either in or on the edge of a red weather warning zone. This being called off is not a surprise to anyone.

The only game on tonight is Rotherham v Wigan, which reminds me of a fake weather warning that I found very amusing. It read:

    SEVERE WEATHER WARING

To those in the south of England, we advise that you stay indoors, keep all windows closed and avoid all but essential travel.

To those in the north of England, we advise that you put yer coat on.
