    Storm Franklin is here!

No it's not Aretha kicking up a storm, it's another Storm Franklin and this time it's taken my fence.

The back garden looks like a paddy field.

I've even got a Blackburn fan nicking my rice...

I had a 30 yard stretch down the side of the back garden.

    Grandkids' bonfire wood now sorted!

Must have been the Domino effect, like when you order a pizza and 5 arrive.

We're trapped out here in West Bradford, the river has flooded the road at West Bradford Bridge, there's a huge fallen tree blocking the road to Waddington, the road to Grindleton may be passable, I don't know, but when the bridge is flooded, the Grindleton road usually is as well.

Good news is the leccys still on, so I can waste my time on 't'internet.

A666 between Blackburn and Bolton is closed. Tree fallen, blocking both carriageways.

I call the A666 “The Devil’s Road” it being the number of the Beast and running between Blackburn and Bolton.

Blimey guys, really sad to read of your woes down there. I have just been out for a 5 mile walk in lovely sunshine and what can only be described as a light breeze in these parts.
I hope that you all get sorted soon and can get on with life. Stay safe!

I'm worried about the caravan in my garden.

Mainly because it wasn't there yesterday.

Only because I strapped a full Calor Gas Bottle inside my BBQ is it still with me. My God it's blowing hard up here towards Belmont Village.
