Really good. Good to hear how the best season was under Pulis beating all the top clubs, even though he didn't like him. Really honest.
Also shows there’s during the successful times the core players policed themselves and set standards
Obviously they weren’t the calibre of the real top clubs but we’re good honest professionals who wanted to be Prem players
Lots of good stories about my mate Jonas too
Thanks for posting! Really enjoyed watching this and a good look at how the team worked from an insider's point of view during those years. They may not have had the same quality or flair as the famed late 70s squad but there was evidently a core of solid and reliable players and certainly both Fozzie and Brunty will be fondly remembered by many for their contributions to the club.
Interesting that he said that Val had them doing set piece drills at 1030am for a 3pm kick off
I can start to see where he may have lost the dressing room, doesn’t seem that some guys are going to be happy with that
And with their insights into the dressing rooms at clubs, it seems you have to read the room and adapt to your surroundings
Seems that Mr Pardew was a victim of this too, they were pretty scathing, always hated that guy, didn’t they use to call him chocolate and say if he was a chocolate bar he’d eat himself
Also very interesting about the Pepe Mel era, sounds like Dowling saved us

Anyone wanting to know how we’ve avoided crumbling when we’ve been relegated will get their answers from Brunty here
You need a core of players with pride and now Prima Donna snowflakes
