I heard something in Chaddesley Corbett but I thought it was the wife dropping the book off her bed.

    No shaking.

There was one about 20 years ago when I lived just outside Stourbridge that literally shook our house to the foundations and scared the s h I t out of me around 1.00am in the morning I think.

I believe the epicentre of that one was Gornal?

First time and last that those words have been used in a sentence.....epicentre and Gornal!

I grew up in Gornal and a couple of my best friends lived on or right next to Brick Kiln Lane, which was where the epicentre was. I left for Canada about 10-15 years before the earthquake. Imagine how strange it was for me living in Canada hearing about an earthquake in Gornal with an epicentre on Brick Kiln Lane!

Here in Oldbury the wife heard/felt the tremor around 11pm when she was upstairs. However I was downstairs and didn't notice a thing.
