Just Got Back - Good Day Out

Enjoyed today. Supped five pints with a nice lunch in a pub called Asi ( used to be Brickmakers ) and then went to the ground.

Poor not showing a " We stand with Ukraine " tribute and instead they had a tribute for a Hull legend before our team took the knee bollox which the Hull team did not do and just watched our lot in amusement.

Great support and to be fair cheered the lads on from the 1st minute to the last - approx 1500 which was decent considering.

Not much quality in the game but you could tell our team wanted it. Star players were Clarke, THG who was great and Livermore to be fair to him.

Hopefully we can now kick on but need 6 points from the next two home games.

I think this is the most uplifting post I have ever read from you Al.....

Not sure where to start....but I'll go fro the first lie that will probably explain the rest in your post....firstly it must have been more then five points...or how else can you explain that glowing report on the captain playing ......so well....that is suspicious right of the bat....

Ha ha - my expectations were low on arrival to the s hit hole called Hull but the lamb wrap in the pub was yummy and washed down by cheap lager! To be fair Livermore played well and the middle was more balanced. Credit where it's due but still think he's past it!

TGH was there all the time on the ball and so much energy - he walked past the fans when he came off and everyone was singing his name. Fair play to the lad!

I am glad it was a good out after all.....if they can get another few wins again like today...could ignite a sprint to play off places yet....

He wouldn’t know about the match, he spent most of the game rearranging his ball sack due to his hernia! 🤣

Glad you had a good day mate also more glad you bought us some luck
I’m guessing Livermore looked good after the dross we’ve watched the last few games, but hoping he can keep it up
We’ll need a good run to get 6th

    Next 3 aren’t easy either

We have 11 games left - so the maximum is 82 points. Usually 75 points gets you into the play-offs - so we can drop at best 7 points to be in the mix. Don’t think we will do it as we have dropped too many points on the back of dismal performances .... but you never know. It would be nice to string together 4-5 wins by the end of the season. One game at a time ......apart from Fulham no team in this Division looks unbeatable ....
