    O/T Russian army pretty poor.

If they were not backed up by nuclear arsenal look a pretty shabby lot with poor leadership and planning in place.
For all the time they had in the building up for this conflict......it's execution is from a millatery perspective pretty dire.
This may go down as a text book case of poor planning with complacency, conscripts not informed, bad logistics and underestimation of your opponent.
To lose three top commanders in the first two weeks of a war, meant only to last three days is abysmal.

With all their advanced technology in situ......they can only revert to world war two tactics.
It's like watching dinosaurs in the modern world in human form.
Change is coming and many if the human dinosaurs won't make the crossing ....
    NO TO WAR!

Don’t disagree Dubs but the other aspect I would add is lack of motivation in the troops, probably from middle ranking officers down, if not even higher.

As I posted on another thread communism leaders only have one tactic and that is fear. Yes it will get you to the well but so often it won’t make you drink.

Outdated philosophy, outdated tactics and outdated man management. Just need Putin out as well.

    Good observation that.
The artillery plan is from the first world war.
This is more then the Cheyenne war...more then the Georgia invasion...more then the Syrian action.
Yet the tactic is the same only now they are shelling Slavs.

Putin the old dinosaur is in trouble. There are growing protests sprouting up across Russia again ...and this is spontaneous as the opposition has all been jailed.
The military commanders on the ground are beginning to be unnerved by the strength of opposition.
Change is coming quicker then expected....

Let's hope so Dubbs - I've been very impressed with Zulensky's leadership and the resilience of Ukranian folk.

However......there is a nazi presence operating which I think is where Putin will turn his attentions to garner support for annexing the East.

I think this campaign thus far, is a major embarrassment for this Russian force.
Many top millitary chiefs in the Russian army will be very depressed about this present performance
Over €5 billion has been spent by Russian defense in last few years to update and upgrade it's forces
A little over 60% was actually accounted for in millitary expenditure on the armed forces.
The rest has been used to buy big expensive boats and mansion around the world.

Russia may have exposed to the world....just how weak they really are......
