Following on from Ponty Ends comments, about Khaled

……. saying something on similar lines.
I’m reading that as tho the club now understands they have a problem with supporters staying away.

What Khaled should really be saying is that he will fix a meeting up with supporters and a member of the board who will endeavour to discuss the directors strategy.

    Oh yes they certainly have.
And Khaled gave us a peek of it during the Giddings interview.

Mi brother has accounting businesses in Britain and Toronto, Canada.
His son (my nephew) is a business lawyer putting the stamp of approval on deals in the City of London.

Genuinely - all what I would need is a 15 minute discussion with Paul Conway sat in-front of me and mi brother to decipher whether the owners are up to the task of taking the club forward or not.
    A few straight questions.
With the prerequisite that waffle will not be accepted as an answer.

I’ve a concern that the BBS / Supporters Trust would back away if smoke and mirror answers were being given to difficult questions.

Why would they change the habit of a lifetime ? The club knows the Friends Of Conway & Khaled Ahmad can easily be batted off and pillaked with bland, non-answers as they blow warm smoke up the CEO's arse.

(Am still ruerrin ovva Ahmad's open letter. )

    Dear Reds,

May I begin this note by thanking you for your support over the last few months.

Since arriving in Barnsley, I have noticed the emotional connection that you have with your Club. From the minute I arrived, it was obvious. You travel thousands of miles every season and spend your hard-earned money watching your team. Living in the town centre, I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of supporters and have sincere conversations across a number of topics, but regardless of the theme, we always end up back onto football matters.

The Club is full of local people who care deeply for its well-being. Those who were not born and raised in Barnsley, like myself, we’re fully converted… just ask Barry Murphy.

Alongside Andrew Clark, one of the Club’s Directors, I watched Saturday’s game against Fulham in the Ponty End. What I experienced was passion, noise and support.

I cannot stress just how much that influences the team on the field. From the first minute to the last, the players are giving everything to remain in this league and I know that all of you who watch at Oakwell are doing exactly the same. Just as we challenge the team and staff to progress, I urge you to channel whatever nerves or frustrations you have whilst watching the Reds into positive energy, to lift the team even higher.

Tomorrow’s fixture is our next game. It’s our next chance to secure three points.

The way the team are playing, their belief is not just words. Everybody believes we can fight our way out of this situation. When we do it, it will be due to a tremendous collective effort from everyone associated with the Club. Do not undervalue the role that you play - singing, chanting and supporting every game is invaluable.

I am always open to conversations and as such, I am hosting a fans forum on Friday 18 March in the Copier Systems Legend Suite. If you can make it, I look forward to seeing you there.

Thank you as ever for your support.

As you sang on Saturday, ‘Every little thing, gonna be alright…’

    All the best,

    Khaled

Why call someone that - who you have never met ???
    It’s disgusting !!!

This fella is a man of substance who has been brought up by people fleeing the Lebanon war.
In a similar fashion to how we see people fleeing the Ukraine war.

His parents have brought Khaled up with nothing to become a highly paid highly respected CEO that we see today.
Which clearly shows the calibre of his parents.

By spewing horrible negative things out like this it reveals more about you than it does about him.

Disagree by all means - but show some respect for Gods sake.

Show some respect to the guy who threw you out of your seat at Oakwell for no reason whatsoever and told lies about why he did it after hiding away and not giving an interview for two months.

Show some respect to the guy who gave an interview that made you decide after all these years you would not be renewing your season ticket

    A man of substance
