    The stats

Lost 12 of the last 15 league games scoring 9 goals and conceding 31 how an earth can that be a team that is improving. It is interesting that it seems the members of the Dave Artell fan club seem to be waning or just embarrassed that others are being proven right about him.

I heard McGarry say last night that we have the worst stats since 1955 and is that 9 defeats from the last ten? As I said I like DA and he a real Crewe Supporter but I don't think he has ever accepted he is part of the problem...The BoD have failed the fans, its as simple as that...I mean advertising for more coaches and a so called data and logistics manager is taking the p*ss surely. I think we had just over 3000 home fans last night and that will only get worse and how are they going to hype up the ST next time after such an abysmal season?

DA seemed to be telling the Board what is required here, rather than the other way around and more background staff? They surely have lost the plot and its a new board..

BTW you know that hyped up new scoreboard they were telling us about? A little tiny thing in the corner? Go and look at the Stockport one where 8000 turned up last night to watch them win..Now THAT is a scoreboard and is that the best we could have done? The only good thing is I'm not paying good money to watch this dross.

This current board and first team manager have made this club a complete and utter laughing stock and they all should leave.

No, just bored with your equally predictable over the top criticism of all aspects of the club. Yes we are getting relegated, that's been pretty obvious for quite a while. There is no real reason to expect we will struggle in league 2, that's for next season, and we will see.

Hmmmm, I wonder? I have loved this club since i was ten years old and will always do so....But our form has never been so bad for nigh on 70 years and so should fans just accept whatever will be will be and no criticism? No scouting as we have too many kids to coach?

Can not someone see that our model has changed and we no longer can sell players for even a million and even that would only be a break even figure YEAR on YEAR? and the graduates from the academy will never be satisfied to stay on like they used to...But in fairness its their money and until that runs out then let them experiment as much as they want to and take on many more non players at the expense of the first team.

Fans will vote with their feet eventually and think the last time I looked, the club will lose around £150K by being relegated and IF this forum is representative of the fans, then that died a long long time ago and why the Board hasn't acted like they would be forced to do at any other club. DA at least knows how lucky he is to still be the manager here...Nobody can criticise any aspects of the club that has been in freefall most of the season and if they are paying fans, even more so, if not and they are content with all that, that is their call. I've always thought Pro Football was a 'man's game and youth players don't fit in well as they are not physically able to compete unless they are very very good and they only come along now and then and the daft part is there are literally hundreds if not thousands of players out there far better than us but we cannot afford them as we spend all our money on a hope, wing and a prayer that the 'next batch' will be better..Its why almost no club in L1 and L2 and no club in the National League has or could ever afford a Cat2 academy and yet all have academies...I suppose being the only one out of step can bear fruit once every now and then?

Not lethargy at all. Just bored with the same stuff being trotted out by yourself ( the previous Lowery denier) and Lazarus who harps on incessantly about coaching, the academy, Jimmy Greaves etc. I’m sure he just copies and pastes old posts. There really is no wonder it’s just you two, with some sense from Gazan, Timmy and a few others with occasional posts. The rest of us, are, as RWS says, bored of it.

    Haha!

You should think yourself lucky that a couple of us post here and some are bored with reading it? Its a dead board and yes I go away and return just to annoy some of you that seem quite content with dross results, the worst set in 70 years and some fans happy with that? We are actually keeping this board going as footymad would surely close it down as non productive...ie just like our team...The truth hurts and that is there was no coaching as such in the old days, players at all levels were chosen from merit and yup we won the world cup by doing that way and never won it since doing it your way...How many coaches are employed in the whole of football world wide? OK lets say in England then? I would say thousands upon thousands and not one plays orplayed at a decent level. How much is this costing clubs like ours that only had one manager and a someone with a sponge and now we have kit managers, and data managers when players like Frank Blunstone who older fans will know was an ex Alex player who got the bus to the ground on match days and worked at a Newsagent during the week and he played for England too....You know nowadays it makes me sick to hear about stuff and fans seem happy to put up with non triers that even DA said we have now playing for us....Jimmy Greaves was one of the best players ever played this game and it was him who said coaching destroyed natural ability by coaches who have never played the game...and we have just appointed another one as Asst Manager but no worries as he has all the coaching badges and so that's OK...we go where the coaches take us...To non league, that's where!

No fan worth his salt should not be complaining about what is happening here this season and by not doing so are in many ways are complicit in the clubs downfall...ie we go where the fans take us to coin a phrase...

Ah you should have seen Frank Lord score all those hat tricks here and not one coaching lesson ever...Pure skill....Finally no academy graduates could have played on the pitches back in that day....they are not strong enough to last 30 mins...Go and see JG score all those goals on such pitches....

Is wartman rdally my friend Luckour? I really hope so but doubt that....

It is not like those of us constantly moaning are actually happy with this season and the inevitable outcome. It is just that some of us see different solutions. None of those solutions involve downgrading or dispensing wit the Academy or sacking the current manager or, indeed, dispensing with the current board. Club clearly in transition and we as supporters have to have some degree of faith that the board know what they are doing and have the best interests of the club at heart. And when all said and done, the club is the most important thing.
