A week this coming Saturday it will be Stevenage v Oldham, a classic of the genre. Of course Evans will have drilled his assistant, trainer and all other match staff to be permanently in the ears of all the match officials and he will find some way to cheat from the moment that Oldham arrive at the ground.

As for Sheridan he could have an argument if he was the only person in a room.
