Good luck to all three, it’s a tough profession with a high rejection rate

And I think that the Manager’s son has to work twice as hard to prove himself.

    I don’t believe it’s nepotism. I don’t think Warney is like that.

Some believe Sir Alex Ferguson to be the best manager ever and he made sure his son played just enough games to get a premier league medal and recalled all his loanees when Peterborough sacked their Darren.

Think Warney would have took a bit of a back seat and let others look into first, definitely no favouritism imo but some will think that so yes Mack will certainly have to work harder, might a good thing though.

I took Flour’s comment has a bit of a joke tbh but it’s the other coaches that might favourite him because he’s Warney’s son

My comment was indeed light hearted
I read somewhere that PW leaves the decisions regarding academy sides to his staff and he said he hadn't seen him play much at all due to workload. I think it was around the time he came on vs Man City U23

It's very rarely that I criticise PW largely due to if he does make an error he corrects it almost immediately so I don't see the point. The PJ T was a prime example

Yes saw him come on v Man City. Tall for a midfielder and got himself a yellow inside 5 minutes! Means business does young Mac.

Biggest thing is, it's nice to see our academy lads coming through and being rewarded. Shows something is working right in the youth set up.
It's the way forward if our club is to survive without doing a Derby/Weds/Reading to get on in the football world.

I didn’t think you meant it at all.

I was making a broader point that if he isn’t Roy Race in every game certain people will use the fact he’s the gaffer’s son against him.
