Would United prefer that Everton stayed up and we didn’t.

That’s the way it looked to me. They weren’t interested, they weren’t even trying. For a team that’s got to be in next seasons Champions League that performance was way below par. Way below with a capital W.
If you knew nothing about football, you’d have sworn both of them were in the bottom 3. If I was a season ticket holder at Old Trafford, I’d be having grave doubts about renewing it.
There is something wrong behind the scenes at Old Trafford and has been since last August.
As for Lampard, it must have been like a gift from heaven. You would have thought United would have at least scored, even if they still lost the game.
Our focus remains the same- win the next game, regardless of todays fiasco.
Whoever takes on the biggest job in World football is in for a hell of a ride. The players at United are so far off the pace it’s untrue. Probably light years away. I don’t envy the new manager in the hot seat, who inherits a team of vastly under achieving primary donnas. Good luck to him.

At this stage of the season teams should not be gifted three points unless of course you are in the majority of "fans" who want Burnley to go down.

The whole PL establishment, Jurgen Klopp, Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and the rest of TV Punditry, every man and his dog, Uncle Tom Cobley and all want us out of the PL.

I don't think Shearer does, he's been quite complimentary about us in the past. As long as Newcastle survive Shearer is happy.
