    Howe on transfers

    Fans should not expect massive spending in summer,we have to abide by fair play rules.

    I will strengthen where needed but won't just buy players for the sake of it.

    Basically saying to all other clubs we haven't got a big pot of cash to spend so we don't get shafted

    I think we'll sign another 3 players of Bruno / Trippier's standard with one being a striker. Howe knows we can't rely on Wilson and Wood isn't going to take us to the next level.

    Agreed.

    If he came out and said "we have ****ing oddles to spend lads, we're gona be able to bid £100 million and not even notice", then every club would put prices to us accordingly.

    He could hardly say anything different.

    I think we'll spend big money on a striker.
