    Double standards and hypocrisy

it's fantastic to see how triggered our resurgence has made people. Not arsed about the knobhead fans trying to take the moral high ground-and failing miserably, usually when someone brings up old Tweets from them wishing for Saudi owners ). But the hypocrisy and double-standards from journalists-and now managers-is staggering.

Yesterday Dean Smith claimed our success was down to being owned by a country with huge riches.

Funny, that-because in January he was warning us that we'd need more than money to keep us up.

So, Dean...is it money or good coaching that's got us to ninth??

Luckily for us, we've got both.

Now, do what our fans suggested yesterday and fuck off to the Chimpo.

He's trying to deflect attention away from his inadequate managerial ability, which is quite disrespectful to NUFC and Eddie Howe in particular.

I read the article Man Utd fans were asked, "Would you want Mohammed Bin Salman as owner of Man Utd"
91% of fans asked, answered yes,

And I'm sure if he'd gone for Man Utd, the takeover would of been waved through.

Totally with you Zip, the double standards are something else.

Wait till we actually win something.

    It's just noise.

Never mind football - none of the MBS shenanigans stops Boris from doing business with Saudi. And the UK from reaping the rewards.

Fans will always look for an angle. Finally, our shop is well run and despite all of the gnashing of teeth, our owners didn't overspend anything that any of the others couldn't spend.

Although we probably have a billion to spend, FFP exists to protect the Super League elite that have already spent that in the past. Unlike Citeh, we're playing by the rules and haven't even actually spent more that what some of them spend on one player.

    They just running scared.

If you want to know if money guarantees success we have a real live example now at Everton to prove it doesn’t. I think they spent over £500 million in 5 seasons.
As Eddie says, our transformation is due to a number of factors. IMO he, himself is the major one and, of course, the owners who put him there. The part played by the fans and support from the city are also factors.
We all know the snowball effect at Newcastle when the stars align, it happened first time under KK and it’s happening again. Once the supporters and whole city get behind the team, and St James starts rocking the whole club is transformed.
It’s amazing Ashley never realized this - what a huge opportunity he wasted.
