Not just domestic political issues to worry about

Whilst there may be plenty of domestic political and economic issues to concern us, both Russia and China continue to pose grave threats. Putin is currently winning his war of attrition in Ukraine and spouting increasingly aggressive rhetoric whilst China still has its eyes very much on Taiwan and the key trade route through the South China Sea. Putin is clearly glad Boris is going and doubtless hoping for a less belligerent replacement but I just hope that whomever becomes our next PM (and the one after) is mindful of both and continues to support Ukraine as well as being prepared to take appropriate steps with China. Putin and Xi Jinping are sadly not so very different. In addition to all this the fledgling semi-democracies brought about by the so called Arab Spring are also floundering. Worrying times.😞

Don't worry about what is going on in the world.
When the Queen dies we will hear nothing more about it. Maybe another Royal Brat in the meantime will give the media something to talk about.

More worrying it appears West Brom are still
s hit and my favourite red wine goes up in price.

I am sure Putin and Lavrov don’t care as they will be dead in another 20 years.
