    Kemi Badenoch

If the contest to be the new PM was all about personality (and that is all that's been posted on here) then without a doubt it's Kemi Badenoch for me. Her speech on Critical Race Theory

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOxdLTrS4AE

and her reaction to Civil Servants when told 'you can't say that' about gender neutral toilets is exactly the breath of fresh air we need after what we have just endured. Sweep away the old?

If was just about policy then based on what little I (and dare I suggest most) know about what the various candidates stand for then I would have to choose Sunak

Just watched the link and must say I agree with much of what she says about critical race theory and also like her presentation on this. Clearly there is still much to do regarding racist attitudes and behaviours in this country but it is not America and it is not simply a Black/White narrative. The mostly white woke brigade who put books like Eddo-Lodges "Why I'm no longer talking to white people about race" to the top of the Times best sellers list need to be pushed back against and get a reality check (nice to see some of the reviews of the book on Amazon now calling the author out on her unhelpful biases).

Thanks for posting -and proof that not all Tory's are elitist slimeballs.

Her statement on toilet provisions in public buildings was also spot on btw. Of course, in an ideal world, they would all be individual "uni***" toilets with their own wash basins but this is obviously not practicable due to cost/space. She is also right to say that the limited amount of disabled toilets is an issue ( and, by insinuation, a far bigger issue than providing facilities to keep the "separate toilets for trans" brigade happy). Glad she stuck to her guns and fought against the cancel culture.

I'm not seeing anything better among the Tory contenders than Badenoch and Braverman. Does either one have a chance?

    No.....absolute zero.

The standout candidate is Penny Mordaunt by a country mile.

I’ve been watching her for about five years now, to me she’s not a “newcomer” as she seems to be to many.

With the right people in the right jobs under her leadership she’ll win the next General Election.

She mustn’t fall into the trap of bringing Sunak back in as Chancellor as a peace offering if she wins though.

A mistake to choose a barren woman for your leader. Look how it worked out for Germany.

I find it strange that you find it so. Why would you trust a woman who has never raised a child with the future of a country? What is her stake in that future? Mordaunt has said that "transmen are men and transwomen are women." Meanwhile your fertility is below replacement as you import your replacements from the Third World.

On what planet is this a conservative leader? What is she conserving?

I agree with Mick, your comments regarding Penny Mordaunt are unpleasant and unnecessary, also stupid.
