    Obbi Oulare

Obbi Oularé injured for several months

The 26-year-old striker has torn the internal ligaments of a knee, announces the Brussels club.
Arriving last January to relaunch his career at the RWDM, Obbi Oularé hoped to start the next season with ambition. The Belgian striker, however, suffered a serious injury in training this week.

After medical tests, it was revealed a tear of the internal ligaments in one knee. This means an absence from the land for several months, at least. Already seriously injured during his spells at Antwerp and Standard de Liège, Oularé is again on the sidelines.

I understand Obbi has preferred to spend his recovery phase in his native Belgium.

Not sure what the wage payment situation now is for Obbi. Not to worry, he is guaranteed full monthly salary, but not sure what proportion Barnsley will now pay.

Of all the clubs in all the world Conway had to walk into ours.

Conway, whilst Acting CEO, agreed a contract with Oulare and his agent that lasts until 30th June 2024..

    Happy Days for Obbi.

Surely our major share holder Chien can clarify the situation to us - is it not in his own personal business interests to do so?

I'd defiantly be looking to hire some experts in corporate and business law and see if a case could be made for Corporate Negligence against Conway .

They will need to get in line at the Court entrance.

Conway is already being taken to Court by the Crynes in an effort to actually get the money owed to them to purchase Barnsley FC in the first place. Only one instalment has been paid, the so called "agreed" £750K taken out of the club's accounts rather than out of their own pockets.
It must be the only example in Football League history of a club spending it's own money to purchase itself. Only Barnsley, Only Conway.

I keep meaning to ask, do you mean defiantly or definitely ?.

As for his/Conway's negligence, yes I also really wish criminal unprofessional negligence could be levelled against him for what he did.
But what worries me even more, is he was apparently hired by Chien Lee, and he/they were representing some unknown investors, who might know and care even less about football and Barnsley than he does.
