    v Blackpool

Well that's a turn up, scoring 3 in one half, the same number as in our previous 4 games. As long a the Lashers don't get another I'll have at least got their score right. COYC!

I repeat what I have said since the first ball was kicked and we beat Huddersfield --we are too lightweight for the Championship.
Interesting if Charlie does go to the Hammers this week and Maatsen is suspended for three matches ,what tweak iwill we see then?
We managed to drop from 5th in the league at half time to 15th at full time, exciting times at The Turf.

    great first half

Second half was text book lack of experience from both manager and players.. manager - game was in the bag, let his hair down, lots of substitutions - play style no plan B until 5 mins from the whistle suddenly start to play direct - bizarre
players - lack game management, and tactical nonce, need to gain some streetwise tactics.. and get clued up faster.

We need a BIG CB & a BIG STRIKER. Whatever other attributes they may have in terms of pace, technique etc we are a small team relatively. We have nobody to head the ball in from set piece play etc unlike under Dyche. Early days, some players literally just got here but we need to sign more and spend to get the quality.

Barnes works hard bless him but he cannot get on the end of balls that come to his feet.He seems to make comical miss kicks every match.

Your right Alf been saying the same but Sub has it to a tee we are far too small - if teams let us play football we’d be fine.

Thing is Appleton realised he wasn’t going to beat us at football and brought on the big boys pressed high and went long as soon as they got the ball - we can’t defend simple as that - not competitive- unfair to harwood bellis as he can but got over run in midfield and swamped the defence with big big boys.

Same corner several times and we still never reacted to the threat.

I can imagine VK was fuming

If your reading Vincent we need a couple of big physical boys mixed in with what we have - we might not play the long high ball - but more and more teams are going to play it against us.
