    Striker Search

On the basis Dike is injured (probably until 2023) and we are looking at options like McBurnie (struggled since his big move from Swansea but maybe perfect for the likes of Wallace), Lucas Joao (injury prone) and Lewis Grabban (old as the hills but experienced), anyone else get the feeling we should have held onto Andy Carroll?

He could have been player of the season with some of his performances and would involve the other attacking midfielders like Diang, Wallace and Swift as well as scoring 10 or so himself.

Massive shame about Delap, but pleased he and Gayle are yet to score for Stoke yet (probably saving their goals for playing us!).

    Just a thought.

Given the realistic options, I would not be unhappy with Grabban. Certainly old, but has a record of finding the net.

This time I support us waiting till deadline day, I think there may be a few loans that come up then, patience needed but us fans never have any..

No to Carroll and no to Grabban. Why are we constantly wasting time around crocs or oldies? Rather take a gamble on Cleary.

Have to say I prefer this option but it will never happen!

Grabban would be okay by me for the short term. Around 160 career goals so obviously better than anything we have up front.

Please, please, please not Grabban, Carroll 300% better.
