    Touchline incidents!

Are these on the rise or is it just that they are receiving more scrutiny? Is it down to the large ego's of those involved (Klopp, Guardiola, Conte, Tuchel...etc.) or is it down to the pressure they are under due to the millions of pounds they have spent? Are similar incidents occurring in the EFL? Can you see PW throwing a green tea over Heckingbottom a week on Saturday?

It won't be long before one turns into a 'bench clearing incident' where both sets of players, subs and non-playing staff are involved in a fisticuffs free for all often seen here in baseball.

These sorts of incidents may be on the increase but are by no means new. I well remember during a Central League game between Manchester United and Liverpool reserves seeing Sir Matt Busby chasing Bill Shankly down the touchline with a hobbing foot and threatening to cave his skull in after a touchline altercation. It never made it into the press of course.

Think we see more because camera seems more interested in dugouts than game

Even though the latest one was at Anfield it will have nothing to do with Liverpool
