How many miller's went for a bigger wage packet and failed?
Might have been a case of poor advice from his agent...............how the mighty have fallen............
It makes me feel proud of the club when players want to attend our games
Yes crash he would’ve been better staying with us for his football but I think he’ll have probably enjoyed himself moving around
From a career point of view it went down and down from leaving us.He lacked pace in abundance, however from a financial point of view,a 2 year deal at Fulham and a 3 year deal at Preston may mean that he thinks he made the right decision.
He played for Fulham after us
How has he gone downhill since moving
I don't think that there isa single player that has played for us and is now playing at a club that is higher than we are now. The nearest is Yates followed by Ajayi, the Tree and then Ward.
No doubt He will think Going for the “bigger wage packet” was best move at the time…
Yes there's a few ex-loanees (Rodak, Martinez) plying their trade above us but I can't think of any of our own ex-players currently doing so.
As for Crash's original question, I doubt if many (any?) players who leave RUFC voluntarily have left for a smaller pay packet so most will have at least pleased their wife/partner and bank manager independent of any career success.
