I read about the latest wave of missile and bombing attacks on innocent Ukrainian people, their infrastructure being blown to smithereens and cities being destroyed into rubble. Yet the West holds back fearing it might provoke Putin if we came to their aid ... wtf could provoke Putin to do more than he is already doing. Apart from this nuclear sabre rattling. Countries like China and India who sit on the fence whilst innocent people get slaughtered should be immediately put on sanctions lists. Why do we want to trade with countries who have complete disregard for innocent civilians’ lives. We need to stand up to this b******d Putin or our children will be next. He only understands strength .... whilst all we do is appease him and show weakness. History tells us you cannot appease a murderous dictator.

So whilst I am moaning at home about having a lukewarm shower in the morning, receiving high utility bills and keeping the central heating turned off .... I stop and think for a minute and wonder what life is like for ordinary people like me in Ukraine.

Ah, I get it now, so it was the Americans who forced all those eastern European countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Romania, Slovenia, Bulgaria) to join NATO in 2004 and not their own growing fears of the Russian Federation?

I've had little time for American foreign policy and interference abroad over the years and neither Western powers nor countries like Ukraine are squeaky clean but to state that Putin is the only sane one in the room is either a wind up or else you are seriously delusional!.
