Can't get in the palace side misses out on the world Cup, but he has a bigger bank balance

While Sam Johnstone had one excellent season with us in the Premier League, he is not an international 'keeper. There are only about four English goalkeepers playing regularly in the top league. These four are decent enough though and I don't think that Johnstone would come before any of them. Should he have stayed with us? Probably, because I think it's better to be playing first team football in the Championship than sitting on the bench in the Premier League.
