    England's World Cup squad

Defence Kyle Walker I've never thought he was good enough going forward for England. Maguire & Stones question marks against them.

Up front apart from Kane we look average to me for going into the world cup finals. Foden & Grealish never look as good for their country as they do for their clubs.

Bellingham & Rice look like this could be their time to show the quality needed. Got to hope other sides are the same short of world class players.

Yep, not brillianyt collective quality, especially the defence without the 2 first choice full backs. Some good talent going forward if they can connect and should get to quarters at least. To get further would be punching above the collective squad weight

Thing the inclusion of Maddison is good as he's playing the best football ever of late.

That roaming midfield/striker role may well suit him.......that's if Southgate has the balls to play him and not leave him out like he did Grealish against an aged Italian side in the Euro Final.

Wonder what Southgate also feels about leaving Ivan Toney at home? He says he's gone for experience, I think he doesn't know how to use young blood when it's required. Reminds me of Captain Mannering with his withered old guard to do his fighting.

Would be a massive risk taking Toney. He's "helping" the FA in their enquiries on betting and match fixing.

If he is found to have been directly involved the England set up would end up with egg on their faces.

Phillips must’ve been brilliant in the 3 minutes of premier league football he’s played this season.

Grist, forgot about that pal, thanks for the notification. Probably the real reason why he's not gone then.

Having players turning up at games handcuffed to a copper shows that they have character.

    That’s why Maguire was selected.

Brin Maddison for England I have my doubts. Grealish just wants to play on the left not running at the defence pass then look for the return to get him in position to get the ball in. It's abit predictable. Foden is all left foot plays on the right again predictable. Have days gone when wide players playing on their natural side go on the outside & cross?

Toney I'm not bothered what he's been accused of until it's proven he's available for selection. But I've got my doubts about him as well being an England player.
