    Substitutions last night

What a pleasant change to comment positively ! Timely, brave and match winning - well done Carlos.
Sensible to swap Wallace despite his MOTM performance, given the yellow card.

They were great substitutions, especially the less obvious Rogic one.

We were both concerned about the WC break ruining our mini winning streak (especially when MP missed that sitter), but thankfully they came back for the first time in 30 matches to win from a losing position.

Knowing us though, we'll turn up in numbers on Saturday expecting to see us batter a perceived minnow like Rotherham, only to fall on our ar se (fingers crossed it is the former though).

Was a superb strike by Rogic.
Can't believe nobody was impressed with it. A sublime piece of skill....

Both goals were brilliant last night Dubs and it was great to see someone at the end of JW's crosses.

We need to keep it up to push for the play offs.

I cannot believe that because of Bruce we have needed 4 wins on the trot just to get out the bottom 3. If he'd stayed we'd we definitely relegated.

Agree Dubs......it reminded me of me in my pomp!

Ex Villa t w a t Barry “Nomark” Bannan was waxing lyrical about what a quality player Rogic is and that he couldn’t believe he was stuck with playing for us in the Championship! 😤

I think Rogic is only 29, if so we need to give him an extra couple of years straight away or a further 12 months with an additional 12 month option in our favour.

It’s being proved that we don’t have bad players, we got a poor owner and have had rubbish managers since Allardyce.

I thought the same Prando with frostbite in the minus three there! You can clearly tell Carlos demands nothing less than excellence!

Pleasure going although suffering now as shouldn’t have gone as really not well.

Dike will be a cult hero at Albion , tried telling you lads about his quality when one or two of you were moaning about his injuries .

I’m top of the list for a choking slice of humble pie Animal.

Very impressed with last night from Dike on the pitch and in his interview afterwards.

You were right, he seems like a really nice bloke.

I think more out of frustration then any real malice Mick to be honest. I got on his back towards the end as well but only cause we could see that we were crying out for a finisher up front.
They say you are only as good as your last game!!! Very frustrating when you can't even remember that last game.
In cases like this, I am glad to be shown wrong in my assessment of a player.
You were always optimistic about him for sure animallittle3 and his goals for ye, kept me always interested.
Lets assess him now in game time. Last night? Very impressive contribution.
