    Huddersfield Town Post Match Thoughts

We are sinking fast and no obvious life belt. Confidence in MT is slipping rapidly and team spirit seems to have collapsed to the floor.

Where do we go from here? I don’t have any answers. Do any of you?

    Thoughts about today’s match?

Made bottom off the league look a good team.

We just haven't got the money to compete at this level it's simple as that.

Thought the new gk coach does set plays aswell when he gonna start doing that

We have run out off ideas.

Relegation is what everyone expected relegation is what will happen

Unfortunately this is now what I expect to happen every week. I was quite happy that we only dropped two points at home on Boxing Day.
I don't have any answers either. Does anybody really think it will get better in January?

Awful, no energy, no desire, no quality, would have struggled to get a point against a second division team !

Injury and illness so might feel sluggish but I can’t keep using that excuse

I actually thought the starting line up was decent but obviously not

    So depressing

It’s just poor on goal, no effect really and Lindsay ffs what was that?

Be interesting what Taylor has to say but I don’t think I could listen yet

Whilst inevitably losing some big players, I remain optimistic that we can and will be a strong team in League 1 next season. Once again.

Aren't you bored of going up and down all the time though? And we don't know yet if Taylor is capable of the "up" bit.

My post was an indirect attempt at saying we look doomed at this level. We are a very good League 1 side, but are well and truly stuck in terms of not being able to crack the next step. Without greater investment, which could potentially put the loose 'guarantee' of our ultra competitiveness in League 1 at risk should it backfire, we are stuck.

Without debating the rights and wrongs of the model we work by, that is the situation we are in. A situation that won't change.

Players and Management could do loads better, don't get me wrong, but the bad 'luck' with injuries we are having right now is just a nail in the coffin. We cannot compete without a 95% fit squad, we have next to nothing in reserve. Incredibly brittle line to tread, and when it goes wrong, like now, it is painfully exposed. Last season no real major injuries and we benefited, this season it will kill our aims.

I can take going up and down, could be worse. Wouldn't half love surviving just once however, see what we could do next, but alas.

Even though I feel depressed now I’m still optimistic we will stay up

Good on yer MT. Keep the faith I've more or less lost it.
However I am surprised to see that the form table for the last 6 games has us at 19th - actually one better than our league position
