I remember nothing about Robbie Turner. Always thought Slawson would do better with his career, coming through the ranks.

I think Turner was supposed to be a striker but he didn't do much for Notts. Less than Agana. That was a poor team, no wonder Neil broke out the champers as he left.

Joined on loan and missed a penalty on his debut, then we signed him permanently and he made his last appearance 4 months later. Stuck around for a year after that before we got rid.
I just remember him being big, bulky and totally useless but he did score one important goal - a winner against Cambridge which helped keep us up that season.

This was the era I fell in love with Notts, but I can't for the life of me remember who Andy Williams was. I'm assuming it wasn't the famous American singer.

Crazy to think we sacked Warnock.

Like Robbie Turner, he joined on loan before signing permanently from Leeds. A waste of £115,000 and went on to only play in tier 3 after he left Notts which tells it's own story. Vinnie Jones once accidentally hit him in the face with a cricket bat, fracturing his cheekbone.

    Accidentally eh?

Apparently he played 39 times that season. Still can't work out how he's escaped my memory.

I wish I could forget about half the players we've signed this century.

Vinnie was always pushing the boundaries.
