I think he might become a permanent fixture now Alfie. I hope so.

That has made my day. Let’s hope that the move can be made permanent.

Not often anything makes everyone happy, but this surely does. Southampton keep a player they don't particularly rate off their wage bill, we keep a player we want and need, Tella is playing for a top of the league team and is clearly happy as a pig in **** at Burnley, and the fans love him, so we're all happy.

This is win-win-win-win-win, what's not to like ?

Let's see what June brings, it seems to me VK is playing the long game with this one.

I agree BT. VK has referred to it all as a “project” that does not necessarily include promotion this season. As I understand it, that includes actually producing more from the U23’s and below. Several youngsters, more than I remember, are now out on loan as part of their development.

When you think about it, we have two superb footballers at the helm - VK and Bellamy, plus others. If they pass on half of what they know, we will have a competitive, growing, maturing team.

No disrespect to SD and his team, but Pace has elevated the club since ALK took over.

I read in my horoscope this morning that if I wanted to know what the future holds for the smiling assassin I would need to cross a tiny gypsy palm with silver. Looks like he’s going to cost us a small fortune,Tella then....

    ....I’ll get my coat.
