Both Fosu and Coventry are out of contract in the summer, could there be a plan to sign these long term if they are any good ?

Thought I read somewhere that Coventry had signed a year contract extension with West Ham before joining us.
I assume that’s so they can at least make something if an offer comes in for him or else he walks for free.

Yeah I thought Conor Coventry was out of contract from a quote I read from David Moyes a short while ago.
They've played canny so they can sell him or keep him.
Important thing is they need to be welcomed, progress their careers ( CC I'm talking about.)
and enjoy their football.
That will be good for any clubs reputation.

It was only one game but Fosu was very very impressive against Watford. Obviously he will have other clubs looking at him but, if he looks to be delivering well we could well do with bending his ear early doors before others get in.
