OT/ Johnston I finally agree with.

He finally says something I agree with. Stop dragging feet over Ukraine and send logistics now...other countries are watching the outcome.
We are now entering the final phase of WWII after all these years.

Some countries need to wake up.

Those who think this has nothing to do with them, or have little interest in Geo politics that’s ok but that does not mean that geopolitics and the kremlin have no interest in them.

The new soviet regime has been busy influencing all aspect of our lives for Years. Just about every far right, and far left organisation they support financially, not directly but via proxies. Instability is the aim. Politically, economically, informational, your name it.
People somehow think that is just Putin….. wrong. The regime started at least a hundred years since.

WW2, the allies were liberators. The soviets were imperialists. Eastern Europe just swapped one imperialist dictator for another.

We often bash the USA and their world economic and military dominance but thank goodness for them I say. Is there a strong European leader who has faced the challenge? Yes Zelinski , Yes the Polish premier. What about the rest, well Boris did well to be fair to him.

So, its basically make your mind up time I’m afraid. This situation won’t go away.

    Well put.
This has been a while in the making but finally no more fence sitting or thinking abstaining is not support for Kremlin....it is.

Nothing to do with us. Ukraine wouldn't worry about us. Let the yanks get involved if they want to.
Imagine Scotland declaring independence and we invade, then loads of Russians turn up giving them fighter planes and tanks.

You lot read too many newspapers owned by billionaires who are fully paid up members of the Conservative party.
You lot will be the first to start crying if it all kicked off.
    Hold my jacket.
    F ucking laughable.

I can understand your point of view Des.

I just like to think that if we were in the same situation that others would help us, the fact that they most likely wouldn't is not a good enough reason for us not to help as best we can.

If Scotland did become independent and as your say and we INVADED!!! that’s the point here INVADED Then we embarked on a complete terror campaign, raining missiles on the populated areas, raping and brutalising the population then threatened to nuke any countries who wanted to stop the slaughter I would commend Russia or anyone else to come to Scotland’s and tried to uphold basic human values.

Evil only prospers when good men do nothing.

Myopic? Much? Class war is not the arena for this debate. Even Starmer agrees to support Ukraine.

    Well start informing yourself 55'
If you can't read between the lines then you shouldn't consign others to your derived at view.
"Nothing to do with us" is straight out of the early last century..
