    Thumbs up Long balls...

We do not deal at all well with long balls hit at or into our penalty box.

Sheffield United and other tuned in teams will murder us if we don't learn how to deal with them.

One hopeful long ball caused Captain Calamity to gift the Hornets a goal, and now to make matters worse Beyer joins THB on the treatment table.

Hmmm BT we are top of the league. I do not think we have a particular weakness. After the sheff utd game people were in melt down we couldnt defend corners.

I feel sometimes people just wish to find negatives. Enjoy it BT, just be positive like the table suggests we should be.

The Watford centre-back launched one and they scored.

Norwich launched one and only BPF's outstretched foot stopped a goal.

Just pointing out the bleeding obvious U_G.

To be fair BT, if our clown of a goalkeeper had not had that rush of blood there was no way Watford would have scored from that long ball.

They did though, I would let Captain Calamity have a rest this weekend and let BPF have a go, would you?

Over the last few years we have had some excellent goal keepers including Tom Heaton and Nick Pope.

When you compare those two keepers as we are likely to do Muric does not command his area and when facing any set piece he does not fill me with confidence. On the other hand Muric's distribution and passing is far better than either Tom or Nick.

To answer your question, tomorrows game is important to get ourselves back on winning ways, and should Muric play and make another massive error it could have a significant impact on the teams confidence, so I would start with BPF in goal.

I’m sure we’ve launched one or two from the back ourselves with deadly effect.

I'm only bothered about how we cope Sir Outwood, and I'm certain VK will have been all over Al-Dakhil and Ekdal like a skin rash since Wednesday morning.

By the way I am mightily impressed with both of these new lads, they look the real deal to me.

All types of goals will be scored against us. Yes we have conceded 2 goals from long balls this season. I would say we are pretty awesome at defending long balls going off that stat tbh. How it can be seen as a negative is beyond me. We also have many different partnerships in CB which doesn't seem to have effected us.

From memory we conceded FIVE at Bramhall Lane.
