    Let's remain classy (Nottinghamshire)

The reason I'm posting this is because I've been through all the different 'options' of social media after the games this weekend and noticed a common thread.. and I think that's the thing that's making me exhausted.

There's so much bull**** about the title race, so much tit for tat, so much *******s about referees and all that ****. I mean, yeah, I get some of it, there has definitely been some questionable decisions here and there recently, but that's football.

Can we just stop crying for a minute and accept where we are? Yes, I've also seen Wrexham fans calling us out for one thing and another, but we really need to ignore it.
Wrexham have always been favourites this year. We are absolutely pushing them to their limits.

They are an old established club like us, who deserve to be a couple of leagues above (like us).

But, I've seen Notts fans whinging their tits off on social media at various things regarding Wrexham. Yeah, some of it can be tongue in cheek, but come on guys, let's not get drawn in to it. Let just do US.

The whole 'mentality' thing is a factor.
Don't rise to it please. Just be happy that we are a great footballing side who COULD win the league.

It's still possible, but the more we consume the 'that's unfair' mentality, the more it's going to work against us.

    Stay Classy Nottinghamshire

It's time to bite the lips get on with the job and hope for some luck. Let's just get on with it and try and enjoy one of the best seasons we've had in years instead of whinging. Ffs

The suggestions that Wrehxam are paying off refs is ridiculous. A lot of it is obviously just joking but some of it seems like people really believe it is happening. I put Davy on here to one side as he only posts such things after 12 cans of cooking lager. Let's just get behind the team and see what happens. Wrexham always have been and as it stands will be clear favourites and rightly so. Suits us to be honest.

I think there's a massive difference between Notts fans on here and Notts fans on Facebook or Twitter which needs to be outlined. I agree with the OP in that stating things like paying off refs is actually like Bruno Fernandes, embarrassing and not nice to watch. I believe though that 99% if not 100% on here don't believe that or would seriously state it whereas I believe 99% of the twonks on Facebook would. Like that Pam whatever's article, real supporters and posters on here said what a load of *******s. I seriously think though the majority of the British public are morons (who get fed their x factor, love island nonsense and lap it up) and paste crap all over social media like babies wanting attention. This demographic will translate to Notts fans online as well.

If Wrexham win it then fair play to them and good luck next season. If we win it the same applies in reverse.

Refs give what refs give, football fans always thinks refs are wrong regarding penalties and perhaps at times we have been hard done by …but tbh I think it’s incompetence at this level rather than anything else.
Although Wrexham having 2 more penalties than us isn’t a clear picture as Notts could have had far more genuine claims 🤷🏻

Comparison in numbers cannot ever be like for like.

But it’s frustrating to see Mullin trip over his laces with no contact and win one and in the same week see Langstaff dragged to the floor in a headlock, and nothing be given.

What you can’t see is the valid ones that Mullin hasn’t got, I don’t want to watch Wrexham’s games.

What I can say is that I’ve seen all the penalties we’ve had this season and can’t say that any were particularly soft. Certainly not to the level that mullin one was.

It’s not about paying refs, it is as you say the poor level of reffing at this level.

And contrary to the phrase, it doesn’t ever “even itself out”, to believe it does would be a conspiracy far beyond the realms of bribing refs….

There are just far too many variables for it not to be.

If players cheated less, refs would be right more often.
