Strong rumours on social media.
Hudds have been in a financial meltdown for quite a while so not surprised at their dilemma. Wigan on the other hand just consistently cheat by overspending and bucking the system and I am oh so glad they are in the mess they are.
Both clubs are in a bad place in the league and look unlikely to pull away from the bottom so why not take the hit now and get it over with?
So the championship will be just for promotion and sorting your shït out
It appears so pal. Do what you like, cheat all you can by overspending and wallop....pick up your s.hit!
Been talking to someone on the coach journey down to Birmingham today and he said he saw you all at the NYS and wondered what was going off. I explained who you were and your band of merry pink wearing beret friends were![]()
So basically take the hit now and start again next season (Div 1) with a clean slate
I thought any points deductions for administrations came off at the end of the season.and if the club was already relegated by normal points total they come off next season.
Also to add,if this is true,Wigan probably should be deducted more than 10 points as it will be there second administration in recent times..
Wigan CEO says it won't be Administration.Originally Posted by clarkey1974;40238042
It's the 4th time in less than 12months that Wigan have defaulted on paying wages.( June - July - October 22 ( 3 points deduction suspended outcome in January this year) & now March.
Where do you draw the line?
Liquidity (cash flow problems) is the official reason.
That could well be true - especially with a foreign owner that may not have available funds in the UK & is having difficulty in transferring cash needed.
Monday should be interesting - suspended 3 point deduction implemented - - - - (perhaps not)

Football is in Financial Meltdown, in the championship, EFL league one.
How do teams survive in EFL league Two.
