Six Points for everybody over Easter ?

On paper the top four could clean up 100% over the Easter weekend.

    Wednesday---Oxford A, Accrington H

    Plymouth---Morecambe A, Lincoln H

    Ipswich---Wycombe H, Cheltenham A

    Barnsley---Burton A, Shrewsbury H

But the game is not played on paper. Not the time for slip ups.

Currently watching the EFL Trophy final , 2-0 Bolton after 10 minutes with Plymouth all over the shop .

How much value there's in this game for ourselves is difficult to say but a comprehensive defeat for Argyle may start to sow some seeds of doubt in their minds .

Plymouth are getting their @sses handed to them right now and it should be 3-0 .

    The plot thickens .

I know Ipswich are on fire but I think those two fixtures they have got could be tricky , but its all about us & if we can do the business & pick up another 6 points it will well & truly keep us in the mixer.

Way I see it is that as SB quite rightly deduceses, the game is not played on paper or indeed form at this time of the season no matter who your opponents are or how they're doing. We just need to concentrate on ourselves and how we go about getting results. After 46 games we will finish where we deserve to be. Whether that's good enough to be champions or 4th place, time will tell. It's sure gonna be an interesting finale though. Can't wait for it all to unfold personally. As Animal said on another thread, the games like Ipswich at Oakwell are why we all watch this sport. Bring it on I say

This is an absolute disaster for Plymouth , now 4 -0 with half n hour still to play .

I think that's a good result for us animal. I said on another thread that a loss in a final can lead to a loss of form afterwards.

Put it this way Arby if we had occupied the top two places since early September as Argyle have done and the chasing pack were closing in and we'd got comprehensively rinsed by a team 16 points worse off than ourselves in a Wembley Final and backed by 38,500k fans I think we'd all bar exception on this board be massively worried .

They bottled it last season in the run in and missed out altogether on a play spot despite occupying the top 6 all season .

Those doubts will surely start to play on their minds .

On the other hand it did Bolton no harm at all and this goes the other way with ourselves should we drop on them in the play offs .

    The plot certainly thickens .
