    Wrexham get £25m grant

Things just keep getting better for Wrexham...

Wrexham have received a huge boost in the form of a £25m Welsh government grant as they look to build a new stand at the Racecourse Ground.

Fair play to them, despite finding it really frustrating that we have had to come up against them and their money bags approach in our own record breaking season you can't deny the owners ambitions and the fact they are also continually looking at how they can build more revenue for the club to aid in further investment in the future. I don't begrudge them this, just hate the fact it all had to happen this season!

It's been given to Wrexham Council not to Wrexham AFC for their Wrexham Gateway project that the Kop is part of so how much of that goes into the Kop is anyones guess.

A little bit (well a big bit from some) of hypocritical sour grapes going on with the whole Wrexham thing girls and boys! I can't remember many turning their backs on Hughes, Kasper, Sven and the potential Champions League scenario induced by the Munto non-money. Nearly all of us sold our souls.

No sour grapes here, and really struggling to see a connection between Munto non money and the shoe horning or a new stand for the kop at Wrexham and the Wrexham Gateway project. I bet it wasn't part of that project before the government turned down their application for cash from the leveling up fund.

If you can't see I was referring to players and coaching staff then there is no wonder you can't see a connection.
