My most stupid of stupid moments! 😩

Today, I managed to shut my own thumb in my car door, it’s pretty much an impossibility but I succeeded!

I had something else on my mind as I pushed the door shut and left the first inch of my thumb in perfect position to get shut in the drivers door.

The door slammed completely shut with the thumb trapped, it took me 5 to 10 seconds of sheer panic and terrible agony to grab the door handle with my other hand and release it.

The last 3/4 of my thumb was squashed flat once released, i was convinced I’d broken it or at worst might’ve crushed it beyond repair.

An hour of cold water and ice pack and by some miracle it’s actually okay and not bothering me too much.

I’m amazed at how the incident could have even occurred, it was random and ridiculous!

Any other stupid, self inflicted injuries by others on here?

Ouch, did the same thing around October last year. Middle finger took it for me. Ohhh so bloody painful. Big blister under the naillooked all black and horrible and took around four/five months to disappear.

I was serving in a tennis match and as the racket came down I ripped a fingernail out of my other hand with the strings.
Only last year I dropped a paving slab on my toe and over a year later I am still waiting for the nail to grow enough to lose the damage.

I was a student and a mate had agreed to put me up for the night. I had been out having a few drinks and was making my back to his place where I had never been before. It was quite a long walk after I got off the bus but I could see his place not that far away. There was a building site in between and I thought it would be a good idea to nip across this and shorten the walk significantly. The building site was pitch black but that did not put me off. I climbed over the fence and started to carefully make my way across. I had not gone very far when I fell down a manhole. I had fallen through the narrow gap between the newly constructed concrete surround to the manhole itself and the area extracted for it. In the process I had cracked my shin on the concrete. So there I was about 6' deep down a hole in the pitch black. I thought I was f***** but I had to try and get out. The sides were slippery damp clay but eventually I got out. I then made my back to where I had originally climbed over the fence and got back over. I painfully made my to my mate's place. I knocked on the door and his wife answered and immediately screamed in horror. The entire front of me including much of my face was covered in slimy wet clay. Blood was oozing out of the bottom of my jeans and covering my shoe. Understandably my mate ran to see what the commotion was, saw me and was in hysterics. I was taken in and that night his brilliant wife washed all my clothes.

I rushed pulling the zip up on my jeans and got the whole of my foreskin caught in the zip mechanism. Lucky for me (if you can call it lucky) after desperately trying to free myself my dad arrived and managed to get the end of a flat screwdriver into the pull up part of the zip and prise it open. But in prising the zip he was crushing my foreskin against the zip. It was bloody agony. My dad called me a tw*t and told me to be more careful in the future. Such a caring soul.

I suspect a lot of us blokes have had the cock in the zip moment. A solution to that would have been to wear ya fly zipped trousers the other way around but then many would probably think you was gay.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    This is a classic Joy.

I have on occasion nicked the “old fella” with the zip but never trapped him completely.

Having to ask your dad for help is such a humiliating experience 🤣🤣

I was in a hurry while drying off after a shower a few years ago. Anyway, I got the end of one of my fingers caught in the towel and felt something give. Looked at my finger and the end segment was just flopping about.

Wasn't in pain and had to be somewhere so I got a couple of matches and some electrical insulation tape, bound my finger and went about my day before going to hospital on the evening.

Turned out that rather than actually snapping, the attaching ligament had torn itself clean of the bone and I had one of those plastic finger splint things bandaged to my finger for a couple of months or so.

Everything's fine now but life was awkward for a while. I had to w@nk with the other hand, a most unusual and not entirely unpleasant experience when all's said and done 😊 .

This is tough to write. When I was 16 and rushing to go out I got dressed too quick and ended up getting my foreskin trapped in my zipper on my jeans. Blood seeping out I embarrassingly shouted for my dear old mother. Who obviously was shell shocked and embarrassed as was I.my dad was at work so she got a towel and wrapped it round me and got my old neighbour George to take me to selly oak A&E..Thankfully I was ushered into a cubicle and dealt with. Several hours later and a painful numbing injection I was free..worse part was the embarrassment for years whenever my now departed parents recalled it at family gatherings. I still have the scar and will post pictures if anyone doesn’t believe me..ouch
