Wow - what a group of talented and fantastic singers! Just been watching a programme about them tonight and really enjoyed it. Such a great group!
Loved Maurice Gibb singing with Lulu - first of May. What a fabulous duo!

One of my favourite songs and one of the most poignant musical clips, even though long divorced you could still see what they meant to each other, especially in Lulu’s eyes.
It was also filmed not too long before he died so I’m sure she must be so glad they did it.
One of the few songs that always has the ability to bring a large lump to my throat.
And indeed to my trousers as Lulu was particularly lush at this time!
Great song.

For a long time I not only didn't really like the Bee Gees (mostly based on the "singing songs in very high voices "Disco era stuff)but was quite ignorant about their talent and breadth of abilities. Whilst still not a massive fan, I can at least appreciate them far better today. The clip posted of Maurice and Lulu still clearly shows the affection between the two.
Between them the BeeGees and Nile Rodgers basically wrote the 70s.
Even if they didn't have a hit themselves they gave their songs to someone else to absolutely smash home:
Dolly and Kenny
Dione Warwick
Frankie Valley etc etc etc
"For One Night Only" is my favourite set from them
They were never my cup of tea but I always loved Got To Get A Message To You
Superb songwriters, performers etc. Always envied their sense of family.
For Who The Bell Tolls is my favourite Bee Gees song.
Robin Gibb didn’t have a truly great voice but on certain of their songs he is the perfect fit such as on this one.
Particularly poignant on this clip of the song, they filmed it with The Twin Towers in the background……hard not contemplate the irony.

Loved their early stuff but didn’t like their later disco type numbers.
