    After we lost for the first time, he beasted the squad apparently, I'm going with no... Saying that, it was a squad that included Glynn Hurst so he probably deserved it

    Scott was the only time I ever joined in with the chants for a manager to be sacked. I wouldn't have done though if I knew what was going to happen next.
    Incredible to look back and see that we were just 5 points behind a play off place in the 3rd tier at the time, with a game in hand, when he got the push. We'd lost two in a row but won the two before that.

    He had the ignominy of being replaced by Steve Thompson, he never recovered his career after that
