    Golf question.

    Playing 10th today at Drumoig.

Poor drive went left beyond red stakes but not in water.

I'm right next to the lifebelt which is permanently staked into the ground and cud only really play backwards.

    Relief or no relief?

Why did you not hit it on the short grass bit then you wouldn't have had a problem? Seems a simple game to me. Skite it up the short grass, skelp it onto the shorter grass bit and then put it into the wee hole thing; simples! For the life of me I can't understand why some golf players decide to hit the ball into the long grass, those sandy things or worse still into ponds, streams etc. Makes no sense to me but then again I've never played golf!

Aim of game is surely to get the ba in the wee hole, nae idea why you would hit it towards the water.
