    Camp Hill Flyover ( Digbeth )

    Loads of you will remember using this!😎🤣

    It’s about a minute into this clip, state of the art at the time and a real thrill to go over it with dad in the car in the 70’s.

    Just look how clean and tidy it was in that area in the early 80’s and how light the traffic was.

    Yep, remember that! I've seen quite a few other similar films on YouTube taken in the 60s, 70s and early 80s and always a bit of a shock to see how relatively little traffic there was and how clean the streets were. Somehow, never noticed it at the time! The old films of Birmingham city centre from the 60s are also interesting because everyone seems to be dressed up with all the blokes in suits, coats and hats!

    Brings back memories, had drive over this in a green GPO Morris 1000 van on my driving test.
    We was lucky a weeks driving course and you got paid , followed by the driving test on the Monday, the GPO like the Army had their own examiner's
