    Booty and McCrory

Just watching the highlights of the first season in the NL when we had Regan Booty and Damien McCrory. They both looked quality, Booty especially had some wonderful technique. Such a shame for both players that they were injury prone….probably the reason they both enddd up in non-league.

At the time, McCrory was league one level but struggling with injuries. Had he been fit for Wembley, and we went for Rawlinson instead of Turner, I reckon we'd have been in league 2 at the first attempt, saying that, I think we are a stronger club and squad now so maybe for the best

A couple of weeks ago we watched our U23 team play away at Melton FC and McCrory was playing really well at centre-back for Melton. 0-0 at halftime and they took McCrory off and Notts immediately scored three times.
